Location: Barley, Lancashire

Join the Dorbiere Pub Group
Are you a passionate hospitality leader ready to run a pub steeped in charm and set in one of the UK’s most scenic spots?
The Pendle Inn is nestled at the foot of the iconic Pendle Hill. We are looking for a Pub Manager who’s hands-on, people-focused, and ready to make their mark on this legendary destination venue.

About Us
At Dorbiere Pub Group, we believe in proper pubs. With over 40 sites across the Northeast, Northwest, and Midlands, we’re proud to create welcoming, community-first pubs that serve up great food, excellent drinks, and genuine hospitality.
The Pendle Inn is our latest addition. It is full of character, history, and potential. It’s more than just a pub; it’s a countryside getaway with six cozy guest chalets and a reputation for hearty meals, well-kept cask ales, and unforgettable surroundings.

The Role
As Pub Manager, you’ll be at the heart of everything; running the bar, leading the kitchen, overseeing guest stays, and shaping the future of this flagship venue. You’ll take full ownership of operations, build a winning team, and deliver experiences that keep guests coming back.
This is a rare opportunity for someone who loves food-led pubs, thrives in leadership, and is ready for a role that’s as rewarding as it is varied.

What You’ll Be Doing
• Running day-to-day operations of the pub and on-site accommodation
• Leading food service and kitchen performance with a sharp eye for quality
• Managing cellar operations and championing cask ales
• Keeping tight control of stock, orders, and margins
• Delivering exceptional guest service in the pub and the chalets
• Recruiting, training, and developing a high-performing team
• Overseeing room bookings and guest check-ins with flair

What We’re Looking For
• Proven experience managing a food and drink-led pub
• Confident running kitchen and bar operations
• Skilled in cellar management and passionate about real ale
• Financially astute, operationally strong, and results-driven
• A natural leader with a warm, proactive, and guest-first attitude
• Someone who thrives in the buzz of a busy service, rain or shine

What You’ll Get
• A competitive salary and performance-based bonus
• Live-in accommodation included
• Ongoing training and career development
• A clear path for progression within a fast-growing group
• The chance to lead a pub with real character, history, and wow-factor views

Requirements
• Full hospitality background
• Living in on-site accommodation

If you’re ready to turn a great pub into an unforgettable destination, we’d love to hear from you.
